Don’t Let It Fool You…

The name that is. Although Rockabilly Junction (aka “RBJ”) is not “rockabilly” by its standard definition, the band is a hybrid of several styles of rock music, including country, classic and southern rock. The bands music represents a melting pot of the rural hillbilly “hick” farmer and the average blue collar hard working man. It’s a sound as deep as the roots of this country and as genuine as the character that forged it.

Formed in 2001, the members of Rockabilly Junction have successfully combined their experience and musicianship to create a formidable sound. Dubbed by the band and fans alike as “Outlaw Rock”, RBJ has drawn from such varied influences as country, blues, pop, Christian, gospel and heavy metal to create a sound all their own.

Consisting of Lead Vocalist Matt Smith, Guitarists Lars Rosell and Snap Brandon, Bassist Marty Roppolo and Drummer Tony Kunkle, Rockabilly Junction is currently touring in support of their sophomore CD release, “Don’t Let It Fool You”.

2007 has seen the band touring the Great Lakes region and playing such noted festivals as the Rock for Life Benefit Concert and Johnstown’s own Thunder in the Valley.
